To help athletes excel in their sports, we offer a unique and holistic long-term plan. This plan addresses crucial areas in an athlete's life, such as physical fitness, mental fitness, injury prevention, injury recovery, therapeutic body massages, off-season and in-season nutrition, and yoga to enhance mindfulness.


Our athletic plan combines modern scientific techniques with alternative holistic therapies to achieve sustainable results in the athlete's chosen sport.

What We Do?

Step 1: Vital Assessments

As part of our unique athletic plan, we conduct essential assessments, including:

Physiotherapy Assessments

We evaluate and analyse the athlete's physical condition, sports-related issues, and medical history. Our comprehensive physiotherapy assessment includes:• Testing muscle strength using objective markers• Analysing the athlete’s movement patterns to identify any issues• Testing range of motion and flexibility to prevent sports injuries

The results help physiotherapists develop personalized rehabilitation plans tailored to the athlete's needs.

Sports Psychology Assessments

Mental well-being plays a crucial role in enhancing physical fitness and optimizing athletic performance. We offer counselling sessions and talk therapy as part of our psychological assessments, which include:

Cognitive ability testingThis analyses the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses in thinking and problem-solving. Based on our findings, we provide targeted training and sports-specific development.

Sports anxiety level testingWe assess the athlete’s anxiety levels, helping them cope with competitive pressures, build confidence, and perform well under stress. This also helps us gauge their confidence in managing expectations.

Competitive behaviour testingWe analyse the athlete’s competitive drive to determine their potential for excelling at higher levels. Based on the results, we offer tailored support to enhance their chances of success.

Strength and Conditioning Assessments

Strength in muscles and bones is crucial for athletic success. Athletes with stronger, more flexible muscles tend to perform better. Our strength and conditioning assessments include:

Flexibility testsWe conduct a variety of flexibility tests, including shoulder flexibility, groin flexibility, sit-and-reach, and broad jump tests.

Muscular strength and power testsWe evaluate muscular strength, which is essential for performance. The power and strength of supporting muscles is a key factor in determining an athlete’s potential.

Agility testsThese tests assess the athlete’s agility, muscular balance, quickness, and ability to change positions efficiently.

Cardiorespiratory fitness testsWe perform shuttle run and 12-minute run tests to evaluate the athlete’s cardiovascular endurance.

Static postural testsThese assessments identify issues with muscular strength, flexibility, range of motion, and body alignment.

Nutrition Assessments

Our nutrition assessments evaluate the athlete's BMI, identify nutritional deficiencies through blood tests, assess overall nutritional status, and analyse body composition. At ISPAN, we consider the specific demands of the athlete's sport when conducting these assessments to create a tailored nutritional plan.

By taking this comprehensive approach, we ensure that athletes receive the best possible support for their physical and mental well-being, setting them up for long-term success.

Step 2: Assessment Results


After completing the assessment round, we generate a custom assessment report as the next step. Based on the results, we proceed with the subsequent steps in the plan. Our assessment report is tailored to the athlete's mind, body, and career. This detailed report includes vital information about the athlete's body type, physical capabilities, strength and endurance levels, and areas that need improvement.


Step 3: Meet-up with Athlete & Parents


After reviewing the athlete's assessment report, we schedule one or more meetings to discuss our findings with both the athlete and their parents. During these discussions, we explain the athletic plan for the next three months and how this individualized plan can benefit the athlete. If necessary, we also arrange parental counselling sessions to guide parents in enhancing their skills and supporting their child's athletic career.

Step 4: Commencement of Sessions


Next, experts at I-Span collaborate to develop a comprehensive athletic plan. Based on this plan, we initiate fitness training, posture correction, and counselling sessions for the athlete. During the first three months, our primary goal is to cultivate a sportsman mindset and prepare their body for their specific profession. Throughout this phase, we also focus on providing optimal nutrition tips and preventing injuries.

Step 5: Parents, Trainer & Coach Meetings


The next step at I-Span involves conducting Parents, Trainer, and Coach Meetings to closely monitor the athlete’s progress. These regular meetings are crucial in ensuring that the athletic plan, carefully tailored to the athlete’s needs, is being followed effectively. I-Span emphasizes a collaborative approach, where feedback from parents, trainers, and coaches is incorporated to make necessary adjustments.
